Grave of fireflies (火垂るの墓 Hotaru no Haka) is the directed and film written by Isao Takahata. This anime movie is about a guy, his name is Seita and his young sister - Setsuko. They are orphaned children. It was the year almost to the end of World War 2. Their mom got hurt because of the bombfire in Kobe, and his dad work for Japanese Navy. The movie is really sad. When i was watching it in my japanese class at school, i couldn't hold my tears. Seita and Setsuko were trying to survive without their parents. They have to live with their aunt and She is very mean. After living there for a few weeks, they move out to live in a shelter. They have to find food by themselves and they have to try to survive. The movie is really good, if you haven't watched it yet, you should watch it.
